It Really Doesn't Matter
Grace Teshima Gallery, Paris
(during Paris Photo)
2012

The constant that runs throughout Molins’ work is an ability to see and translate her feelings into photographs - her quick dry humour uses windows, texts, reflections, clouds and objects to invoke her disarming and eccentric visual anthropology. she has used the camera to record how she felt and what she saw.

The title comes from the beautiful lettering over a classic residence in Amsterdam, where instead of the house number, the words “it really doesn’t matter” are inscribed. This beguiling exhibition sees ghosts in windows, romance in graffiti and clouds in everything from cups to windows.

Half lit experiences sets out to recount pathways of life. Reflecting back small shared experiences along the way. Caroline Smith, What’s on
